Run Weak Clean and print another nozzle test. If the result is still incomplete, repeat the cleaning. If there is no improvement after 2–3 cleaning cycles, contact a technician for support. The manual also recommends running a nozzle check before every printing job.
If the printer will remain unused for more than two weeks, follow the long-term maintenance procedure to reduce the risk of printhead and ink-line clogging. The manual recommends cleaning the ink system, moisturizing the printhead, sealing the ink lines, and protecting the film and hot-melt powder from moisture.
The C605 requires a Gigabit network adapter and Gigabit Ethernet connection for communication with the printer. A 100 Mbps network card cannot establish the required connection. The printer software also requires the PC network settings to be configured correctly.
The recommended operating environment is 20–30°C (68–86°F) with 40–70% relative humidity. Stable temperature and humidity help maintain normal ink performance and print quality.
After powering on the printer, run the white ink circulation system for about 2–3 minutes. This helps maintain ink flow and reduces the chance of air bubbles forming inside the white ink tubes.
