6. FAQs and Troubleshooting
The recommended operating temperature is 20–30°C (68–86°F) with a relative humidity of 40–70% RH. Keeping the printer within this range helps maintain stable ink flow, print quality, and overall machine performance.
The 450Pro supports a maximum printing width of 42 cm. With dual Epson I3200-A1 printheads, the printing speed is approximately 12 m²/h at 4 Pass and 10 m²/h at 6 Pass. With dual I1600-A1 printheads, it reaches approximately 10 m²/h at 4 Pass and 8 m²/h at 6 Pass.
A Windows PC with an Intel Core i5/i7 10th generation or newer, at least 16 GB RAM, and a 1 TB drive is recommended. The computer must also have a Gigabit Ethernet port because a 100 Mbps network adapter cannot establish the required printer connection. Windows 10 64-bit is recommended, while Windows 11 64-bit is also supported.
Run Weak Clean and print another nozzle test. If the pattern is still incomplete, repeat the cleaning. If there is no improvement after 2–3 cleaning cycles, stop repeated cleaning and contact a technician for support. The manual also recommends running a nozzle check before each printing job.
If the printer will not be used for more than two weeks, special maintenance is required to reduce the risk of printhead clogging. The printhead should remain properly sealed and moisturized, ink tubes should be clamped, ink cartridge covers tightened, and DTF film and hot-melt powder should be sealed against moisture. For longer periods of inactivity, the manual recommends cleaning the ink system and using moisturizing liquid in the printhead.
Run the printer regularly and keep the printhead maintained. The manual recommends operating the printer at least weekly, using the software's “Wetting” setting, and ensuring the printhead returns correctly to the capping station before shutdown. After powering on, the white ink circulation system should also be operated for approximately 2–3 minutes to help prevent bubbles from forming in the ink tubes.
