Standard UV Foil Stamping Workflow
- 1 Design the Artwork: Create the foil design using vector software and ensure line thickness and negative space allow precise foil and UV ink application.
- 2 Print UV Ink Base : Apply UV ink where the foil will stick to improve adhesion and enhance reflectivity. For AB membrane applications, print the base layer first.
- 3 Apply AB Membrane : Place the AB crystal membrane on top of the printed UV ink layer for 3D effect or protective layer.
- 4 Apply and Align the Foil: Place the UV foil film on top of the base or AB membrane. Align precisely and remove bubbles.
- 5 UV Curing / Exposure: Use UV light to cure the ink and bond the foil to the substrate or AB membrane.
- 6 Remove Foil & Inspect: Peel off the foil carrier sheet, check adhesion, and ensure the 3D effect is visible and consistent.
- 7 Post-Processing: Apply protective coating if needed. The finished product is ready for packaging or further assembly.
