Video Tutorial

Replace the printer power board and restore every connector to its original position. Photograph the wiring before disconnecting the old board.

Applicable model: General. Required items: compatible power board, screwdriver, and phone for recording connections.

Step 1. Expose and Remove the Power Board

1.1 Switch off the printer and unplug its power cable. Remove the side cover fixing screws and take off the cover to expose the power board (See Figure 1.1).

1.2 Take a clear photograph of all power board connections. Record the connector positions before unplugging any wires.

1.3 Disconnect all plugs from the power board by holding their connector bodies (See Figure 1.2, left).

1.4 Remove the screws securing the old power board and lift it from its mounting position. Retain the screws (See Figure 1.2, right).

Step 2. Install the New Board and Restore the Wiring

2.1 Place the compatible replacement board in the original mounting position. Align the fixing holes and secure the board with the retained screws (See Figure 2.1).

2.2 Reconnect every plug to its original position using the recorded wiring photograph. Confirm that each connector is fully seated (See Figure 2.2, left).

2.3 Check that the board is secure and no disconnected plugs or loose screws remain in the compartment (See Figure 2.2, right).

2.4 Refit the side cover and secure its original screws before reconnecting the power cable.
