Video Tutorial
Use the printer regularly and prepare the printhead before an extended break to reduce the risk of dried ink blocking the nozzles.
Applicable model: General. Required items: compatible printhead cleaning liquid for an idle period of more than 3 days.
Step 1. Print Daily
1.1 Turn on the printer and print once each day as part of the routine maintenance schedule.
Step 2. Prepare for More Than Three Days Without Printing
2.1 If the printer will not be used for printing for more than 3 days, clean the printhead with a cleaning liquid compatible with the installed ink and printhead.
2.2 Use the cleaning procedure specified for the printer. Keeping ink from drying inside the printhead helps prevent nozzle blockage.
